Cops reaching out to drug addicts, offering Narcan training in Gloucester County

A Gloucester County police department will hold a community outreach event on Thursday to help those struggling with drug addiction who are in need of mental health services.

The event will take place in the Rite Aid parking lot, 236 South Delsea Drive in Clayton, from 4 to 6 p.m. At 5 p.m., presenters will train attendees on how to use the overdose antidote Narcan and provide free Narcan kits.
