Police looking for blind man accused of threatening to shoot staff of apartment complex

After initially patting down and arresting the wrong person, authorities in Bridgeton said are looking for a man who they say threatened to shoot the staff of a local apartment complex.

The investigation began on Nov. 13 when officers were called to the Bridgeton Housing Authority High Rise Apartment Complex on E. Commerce Street where staff told them a former resident who had been evicted and banned from the complex left a threatening voicemail saying staff there would be, “shot dead,” according to a release from the Bridgeton Police Department.
