Hoboken police sharing tips to keep ride-share customers safe

As the number of ride-share trips rise during the holiday season, the Hoboken Police Department is joining the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association (NJPBA) to promote a campaign to get ride-share customers to their destinations.

The #WhatsMyName safety campaign was established by the family of 21-year-old Samantha “Sami” Josephson of Robbinsville, who who was kidnapped and murdered in 2019 near the University of South Carolina by a man pretending to be her rideshare driver.
