A police officer in Bristol was injured late Monday when their cruiser was struck by what police described as a fleeing suspect outside a school.
The incident unfolded shortly before midnight at Mountain View School on Vera Road, according to Lt. Patrick Krajewski of the Bristol Police Department.
The officer suffered minor injuries after their cruiser was struck by a motorist who was fleeing from the area, Krajewski said without elaborating on the nature of the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
