Platinum-selling rap star, cultural influencer and fashion trendsetter Cardi B is bringing her first headlining arena tour to Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise next spring.
Tickets for the April 14 concert will be available first via a series of presales, including an artist presale that begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, and ends at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24. In order to take part, fans must register for the presale by no later than 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Signup.ticketmaster.com/cardib.
Other presales will be available beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, for Citi card members (visit CitiEntertainment.com) and Verizon customers (Verizon.com).
The general ticket on-sale will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Seatgeek.com.
The Little Miss Drama Tour, which includes just the one concert in Florida, takes its name from Cardi B’s new album, “Am I the Drama?,” the long-awaited follow-up to her Grammy-winning 2018 debut, “Invasion of Privacy.”
Her new anthem, “Outside,” was her 13th single to reach the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
After several years as a rising mixtape force, Bronx-raised Cardi B’s deal with Atlantic Records yielded “Invasion of Privacy,” a stunning compilation that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard albums chart.
The album featured artists including Migos, Chance the Rapper, Kehlani, SZA, 21 Savage, J Balvin and Bad Bunny, among others. Singles “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Her other hit singles include the Maroon 5 collaboration “Girls Like You,” “Please Me” (with Bruno Mars), “WAP” (with Megan Thee Stallion), “Tomorrow 2” (with GloRilla), “Rumors” (with Lizzo) and “Enough (Miami).”
Expect Cardi B’s first arena tour to be a visual extravaganza. As a style leader, Cardi B has been a Met Gala must-see, with her dramatic looks illuminating the pages of Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Teen Vogue.
