A trial of a man charged with secretly filming other men in a local restroom has been moved to Nov. 18.
The trial of 76-year-old George Thomas West of Gloucester County had been scheduled for Thursday. He is charged with 17 misdemeanor counts of using his phone to illegally film men at a Colonial Williamsburg restroom. The Aug. 2 incident occurred at a restroom nearby Duke of Gloucester and South Henry streets during a Saturday farmers market. Each count is punishable with up to one year in jail.
The arrest occurred after a man using the bathroom said he saw West filming another man. Officers found two videos on West’s camera roll as well as 15 more in the phone’s recently deleted items.

West’s attorney, Christopher Voltin, declined to comment following the hearing.
