Nationwide business set to open new CT spot. Owner says there are 20,000 drink possibilities.

The finishing touches are being put on the new drive-through coffee and beverage stand in Connecticut, where they claim to have 20,000 potential drink combinations.

The 7 Brew is located on one of the most prominent spots in Orange just down the street from two Dunkin’ Donuts and a Starbucks, but the owner isn’t worried about that because he says 7 Brew has ingredients that are extra special: heart in every drink and baristas who truly care.

“Technically we sell drinks, but we feel like we’re in the people and relationship business,” said Rohan Kapoor who owns the Connecticut stands with family members. “It’s a positive experience.”

Kapoor said their baristas hand the customers their customized orders in the parking lot with an extra shot of “kindness,” positivity and friendliness. He hopes returning customers will get to know the crew.

“We look for people who are kind. Cultivating kindness is at the core. Building relationships, being able to enjoy a conversation,” Kapoor said. “Whatever you’re going through a great interaction with another person can change the course of your entire day.”

Kapoor said the franchise that began in northwest Arkansas in 2017 now has over 500 stands across 34 states. The company started to franchise in 2021 and kept the extra-friendly, community-centered culture and delivery of “speed, quality, customization,” he said.

“That’s just the spirit of the people of Arkansas,” Kapoor said.

In Orange the stand of 510 square feet is located at the corner of Boston Post Road and Bull Hill Lane.

In addition to coffee, they have customizable energy drinks, fizzy drinks, smoothies, teas, lemonades, and milkshakes. There are dozens of flavors to add – most come with a sugar-free option and even ice cream to add.

‘No one outside of the owners is more delighted than First Selectman Jim Zeoli.

“The town of Orange is very happy to have been chosen by 7 Brew as the location for the next location,” Zeoli said. “It was fascinating watching the crane lower the building parts into place, a new style of construction.”

Zeoli said he believes they will become “an anchor on Orange’s east end of the Boston Post Road. New economic development large or small is vital to a community.”

Kapoor’s family first brought 7 Brew to Wallingford in September 2024 and opened in Vernon April of this year.

They will open another in North Haven by the end of this year, Kapoor said.

The much anticipated Orange location will have a soft opening event Oct. 3-6 with a fundraiser for Connecticut Children’s Hospital.

The small drinks will be free and donations of any amount taken for the hospital.

The following week, Oct. 10-12 there is a family/friends event that will offer free small drinks during certain hours.

“It’s a great opportunity to try our menu,” Kapoor said.

They will open for regular business Oct. 18 with swag giveaways.

“We’re trying to revolutionize the drive thru experience,” he said.

He called Orange an “amazing” community, where his family has been introducing blocks of community members to the products.

“For my family and I all the people we meet in the community is the reward,” he said.

Connecticut reviews online are glowing.

One customer wrote, “I wanted to see what the hype was about on social media and I must say I like this way more than other coffee places!!”

She went on to write, “they have any type of drink you can even think of too. This place is awesome.”

Another customer who loves “exploring’ coffee places wrote that “7 Brew did not disappoint.”

“My inaugural visit was a resounding success—the beverage was fantastic, and the friendly, kind-hearted staff made me feel right at home. I’m crossing my fingers that this coffee gem will open a location closer to me soon.”

Another wrote that her flavored coffee drink was “heavenly” when she shook it up.

At the core of their menu are seven original brews, hence the name, that include: Blondie with caramel and vanilla breve; Brunette with hazelnut and caramel mocha; Smooth 7 with white chocolate and Irish cream; cinnamon roll with white chocolate and brown sugar cinnamon; white chocolate mocha with white and milk chocolate; German chocolate with coconut and caramel mocha; sweet & salty with salted caramel and white chocolate breve.

Their coffees are mostly sourced from South America. The only food item they have are muffin tops.

They also have a “secret menu,” he said, that can be found on line or by asking a baristas.
