A pair of local GoFundMes are in need of support.
The first, “Support Wolfie’s Family in Their Time of Need,” is seeking donations to help the family of deceased Gary Nadeau, “Wolfie,” according to the GoFundMe page. Nadeau passed away on Friday, Sept. 19.
“Wolfie leaves behind his son, Justin, and son-in-law, Jesse, his ‘ole lady’ Jennifer, and his CVR brothers,” according to the GoFundMe. “Unfortunately, Wolfie did not have medical or life insurance to help cover his medical expenses, funeral expenses, or help with household bills. We are asking for your help to help ease the burden for his family. Any amount, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity during this difficult time.”
A CT business continues to grow, backed by town and state pride. ‘Nostalgia part is so wonderful.’
Additionally, the New London High School girls varsity soccer team is seeking donations “to provide our athletes with essential equipment, team bags, and updated gear,” according to their GoFundMe.

“Your generous donation will help ensure every player has the tools they need to train, compete, and represent our school with pride,” their GoFundMe went on to say. “No contribution is too small—every dollar makes a difference in helping our team grow, stay safe, and build lifelong memories.”
