Wilson police are asking for the public’s help after a home was hit by gunfire early Monday morning.
Borough police were called to the 2300 block of Second Street about 4 a.m. for a report of shots fired, according to a department news release. Investigators found spent shell casings in the area and saw that a home had been hit several times.
The residents in the home were not injured.
Police said a small white SUV was seen leaving the area the time of the shooting.
