Looking for a family-friendly night of Halloween fun?
The 5th annual Great Halloween Drive-Thru returns to Windsor this month, according to a statement.
The event, held next to Brown’s Harvest Family Farm on 1911 Poquonock Ave., kicks off this Friday, Oct. 3 and runs every weekend of the month from Friday through Saturday, according to their website. Hours are 7 to 9:30 p.m. for showings between Oct. 3-12 and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for all showings afterward.
“Visitors stay in their vehicles and drive through the farm along a journey of spooky holograms, special effects, sounds and projections,” according to a statement. “The Great Halloween Drive-Thru is not scary. There are no live actors and no jump scares. The animated hologram shows, projections and special effects throughout the park are ideal for families and children.

“We are excited to bring The Great Halloween Drive-Thru event back to Brown’s Harvest,” said creator Frank Campiti. “People come from all over Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont and New York to experience this family friendly event. Parents and grandparents are always looking for fun things to do with their kids and this is an experience the whole family can enjoy together. Kids really love the magic of the holograms and projection shows – adults do too! We have families come back multiple nights, friends looking for something festive and fun to do together, couples on date night – this is the kind of event people of all ages enjoy.”
“Tickets are $30 per car (cash only) paid at the entrance,” according to The Great Halloween Drive-Thru.
“The Great Halloween Drive-Thru is sponsored by AMP Electrical, Inc. and WMAS-94.7 FM,” according to a statement.
