Mohegan Sun is celebrating active-duty military and veterans on Saturday, Nov. 15 with Vets Rock 2025, according to the casino.
The 11th annual event will feature an opening ceremony, a Vets Rock Expo, and a Dave Bray USA show, according to Mohegan Sun.
“This event is a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s heroes who inspire us with their courage and commitment,” according to Mohegan Sun. “Vets Rock 2025 will feature valuable programs that focus on enhancing the lives of veterans and active-duty military members through a job fair, veteran service organizations, veteran-owned businesses, and other resources.”
The Opening Ceremony kicks off “at 11 a.m. at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, in front of the Box Office,” according to the casino. WTNH’s Gil Simmons will host.
“From Noon – 4 p.m., guests of all ages are invited to attend the free Vets Rock Expo in the Uncas Ballroom at Mohegan Sun,” according to the casino. “This dynamic event will bring together a powerful lineup of resources designed to uplift and support those who’ve served.”

Free flu shots will also be available to guests, as well as “Casino 101 which is free Blackjack and Roulette lessons for guests 21 years of age or older,” according to Mohegan Sun.
At 8 p.m., guests can enjoy the free Dave Bray USA show in the Wolf Den, according to the casino: “Dave is a USN/USMC Veteran who considers his ‘Music on a Mission’ to be a continuation of his Service.”

For Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11, “Mohegan Sun will be hosting a $15,000 Slot Tournament…and any Momentum member with a valid military ID is eligible for one free entry into the tournament,” the casino went on to say. “This tournament will take place from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Sky Slot Tournament Zone. Additionally, Veterans Day Pins will be distributed to guests at 10 a.m. on Tuesday…at the Winter, Summer, and Riverview entrances.
