Week 11 features nine rematches of regular-season games and a team playing its first District 11 opponent of the season.
The District 11 football playoff pairings begin this week with 20 games in the six classifications.
Two of the original meetings among the rematches were great games. Palisades held off Northern Lehigh in the second half of a 28-14 victory in Week 4 in Kintnersville. Tri-Valley makes a second trek to Marian Catholic looking to redeem its 17-14 setback in Week 2.
Other rematches: Blue Mountain beat Lehighton 49-34 in Week 7; Northampton knocked off Nazareth 41-28 in Week 9; Southern Lehigh beat Bangor 48-0 in Week 8; Liberty knocked off Freedom 42-14 in Week 10; Easton beat Emmaus 42-7 in Week 5; Whitehall routed East Stroudsburg South 62-21 in Week 3; and Pocono Mountain East shut out Pleasant Valley 28-0 in Week 8.
Palisades and Northampton are the only lower seeds to have won the first matchups with their playoff foes.
Executive Education did not play a District 11 team in the regular season, and is the only district team that played a nine-game schedule — one of which was a forfeit win in Week 9 over New Hope-Solebury.
Four of the five unbeatens stayed that way in Week 10, with only Southern Lehigh coming up short in a 36-28 loss at 10-0 Northwestern Lehigh, which has won 26 games in a row.
None of the four winless teams were able to end their streaks, though Shenandoah Valley came oh so close. The Blue Devils lost a heartbreaking 44-43 to Mahanoy Area to extend their losing streak to 26 consecutive games. Wilson takes a 42-game losing streak into 2026.
Tri-Valley, Williams Valley, Northwestern Lehigh (three in a row), Southern Lehigh, East Stroudsburg South and Parkland are the defending district champions in the six classes.
