Police ID suspect wanted in connection with stabbing in Waterbury

Police are seeking information about a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing incident in Waterbury earlier this month.

Officers responded to 246 Walnut Street. around 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 18 following a report of an adult male victim who had been stabbed, according to the Waterbury Police Department.

Arriving officers located a 31-year-old man who had sustained stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was initially listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police have identified the suspect in the incident as Harlem Arquel Espinosa-Ramos, 20, of Waterbury. He is currently wanted on an active arrest warrant charging him with criminal attempt at murder and first-degree assault.
