A $5.5M Windermere home has a spectacular pool. But wait until you hear about the closet.

It’s a perfect house who loves cars, relaxation and clothes — especially clothes.
“It has a two-story boutique walk-in closet, which is unheard of. It’s my dream closet,” said agent Peyton Lewis with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty of the Windermere listing. “Everything is open. It’s very minimalistic. It truly feels like you’re walking into a luxury boutique and have all of your clothes.”

Offered for just under $5.5 million, the 6,816-square-foot home in the exclusive 10-home Lake Down Reserve has much more to recommend it, according to a report in GrowthSpotter.

There is a chef’s kitchen, open living spaces, a theater room, an executive office, and a pool that’s an absolute knockout.

“It’s really beautiful. It’s truly one of one, and there’s nothing like it in the Windermere area,”  Lewis said. “The photos are absolutely beautiful, but when you see it in person, the photos don’t even do it justice because you do feel that warmth when you come in.”

But about that closet: Each level has an island with drawers and a hideaway hamper.

“There are very few listings where I’ve seen a two-story closet,” Lewis said. “So anyone who loves fashion and shopping in general would walk into this closet and just feel like they’re at their favorite store.”

The primary suite is one of the home’s six bedrooms and six full bathrooms. The primary bathroom has a free-standing soaking tub and dual rainfall showers, all under a skylight.

Four other bedrooms are upstairs, each with an ensuite bathroom.

The casita has an additional bedroom and bathroom with a separate entrance, perfect for a houseguest or even an office or gym.

“It’s really a multi-functional space that you can use for truly anything.”

As nice as the inside of the house is, Lewis’ favorite feature is the pool.

“It’s resort style and if you want to sit outside, it would be like a resort or your own little oasis that just takes you away from everyday life.”

“You also have a splash pad, so if you have young kiddos, they would be able to splash there, or maybe you could get those tanning bed seats in the water to where you can have that perfect sunbathing area for yourself.”

The pool even has a glass wall.

“You would be able to see anyone who’s swimming in the pool just through that glass, which is such a unique feature, you don’t see that anywhere,” Lewis said.

For the car lover, the garage is enormous and rare.

“[This house] has a six-car garage,” she said, adding it could hold even more since each area is pre-wired for a lift, increasing the maximum capacity to at least 12 cars.

“A lot of what you see in Windermere in this price range is a three or four-car garage, so any car lover would come into this house and fall in love with that feature alone.”

Lewis told GrowthSpotter the house is newly built by Element Home Builders, and construction took five years.

“It’s just because there were so many features that the owner wanted in the house to make it really one of one,” she said, adding that there is imported stone from Italy and features often seen in California or Miami but not Central Florida. “So it really took quite a bit of time, but they really wanted to make it perfect.”

The home is currently staged, and everything can be sold with the house.

“We have furnishing company working with us, so if any buyer comes into the house and they want to change any room pieces, even the living room couch, they would be able to work directly with that furnishing company,” Lewis explained. “It’s almost like when [a buyer] comes into the house, they have their own personal interior designer there to help them find whatever suits their interests or their style and vibe to really make the house their own.”

That makes it optimal for someone who likes coming to Orlando to visit or calls Orlando home but has multiple properties elsewhere.

“It’s the perfect location for someone who wants the Windermere lifestyle, but doesn’t mind not being on the water,” she said. “Whoever gets it is going to be truly so lucky to have this property, because it’s truly a one on one. It’s like a piece of art.”
