Class 4 Eastern Section championship
No. 3 Heritage d. No. 4 Gloucester, 3-1

Marcus Dozier led the Hurricanes to their second consecutive region championship with a double-double of 20 kills and 13 digs. Isaac Ward-Payton recorded 24 kills, while Nazir Bradshaw totaled 22 digs and three aces. Tyrell Shelton provided 42 assists.

Girls volleyball
Class 6 Region A championship
No. 1 Grassfield d. No. 2 Thomas Dale, 3-0
(25-21, 25-16, 25-11)
Benisa Moore, Kenzie Johnson, Emery Stahl and Lauren Dolbeck all contributed five kills as the Grizzlies secured the title. Ryann Bothof led defensively with 24 digs.
Class 4 Region A championship
No. 1 Grafton d. No. 3 Jamestown, 3-0
(25-12, 25-20, 25-16)
The Clippers, who finished the regular season as the No. 1-ranked team in the 757Teamz Top 15, won the Class 4 Region A title. Kenzie Smith led with 21 kills and three blocks. Ana Breckons added nine kills and four blocks, while Olivia De La Cruz tallied 20 assists and five aces. Ally Burke finished with 14 digs and four aces. Grafton meets Atlee on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the state quarterfinals.
Class 3 Region A semifinals

The Trojans host No. 2 Tabb on Wednesday in the region final.

Senior Madi Pratt tallied a team-high 15 kills and nine digs for the Tigers. Seniors Haley Atkins and Abby Webb combined for 12 kills and six digs. Sophomore Ayla Sharp contributed 18 assists.
