Ticked Off! @donation

I’m ticked off that a celebrity worth $1.6 billion is celebrated for giving $1 million to the AHA. That’s like someone worth $500,000 giving 2-1/2 cents. Not such a big deal.

I am beyond ticked off at the dietary staff at the Oak St HCA in Kissimmee.  My dad who has had celiac disease for over 60 years and needs a gluten free diet was served there wrong meal three times in a row.  Total Incompetence ! On the flip side the nursing staff was nothing less than wonderful.

Although it is difficult to be grateful when you have just been diagnosed with a most stressful disease shared by many billions of people (yes, billions!)  around the world. I have found empathetic people who have this disease and share their coping methods – life-saving for all of us.  The disease is TDR, again not limited to the U.S., so I am thankful to those who give us hope and help all of us survive with grace.

The flip side

During this hectic Christmas shopping period, we stopped off at Target Hunters Creek and had many bags of goodies. We inadvertently left my wife’s billfold with her cards, some cash and driver license in the cart after loading the car. We unfortunately discovered this after about an hour at home! We rushed back to Target, got into the long line at Customer Service and an honest person turned it in!! We are beyond relieved! Thank you whoever you are!!
