The driver of a motorcycle died Saturday night in Hampton after a crash with another vehicle.
Very few details about the crash were made immediately available, but the crash happened at the intersection of East Mercury Boulevard and East Pembroke Avenue.
Police were called to the scene just after 9:20 p.m. Hampton Fire and Rescue personnel later arrived at the scene and pronounced the motorcycle driver dead. They were not identified.
The two people in the other vehicle involved in the crash were taken to a local hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. No information about this second vehicle was released.
Police say the motorcycle was traveling south on East Mercury Boulevard when it collided with the second vehicle, which was traveling east on Pembroke.
The crash was still under investigation, police said.
