Riley Stack stood tall with a host of career-highs, including 22 points, to lead the Old Dominion women’s basketball team to an 85-62 victory over Louisiana Monroe on Wednesday night at Chartway Arena.
Stack, a 6-foot-5 transfer from Coastal Carolina, added three other career-highs — seven blocks, three steals and 10 field goals — against a ULM team with just one player taller than 6 feet. Stack’s nine rebounds tied a career high, and she missed only one shot.
ODU improved to 10-2 at home and snapped a two-game losing streak with the Monarchs’ most lopsided victory since an 85-48 win over North Carolina Central on Nov. 23.
ODU (13-9 overall, 5-5 Sun Belt) pulled into a sixth-place tie with Texas State in the conference standings.

Stack continued a recent tear, scoring in double figures for the ninth time in the past 12 games.
“She was just a force to be reckoned with tonight,” Monarchs coach Delisha Milton-Jones said, according to odusports.com. “When we wanted to relieve the pressure, we just threw the ball to Riley.
“Defensively, she blocked shots, but she also altered a lot more shots.”
Simaru Fields and En’Dya Buford finished with 15 points each and Simone Cunningham had 12 for the Monarchs, who scored 50 points in the paint.
Nakiyah Mays-Prince scored 19 points to lead the Warhawks (8-12, 3-8).
