Abraham Taft III netted 24 points, Joshua Rice 15 and Jawaun Tucker 14 for the Crabbers. The Phantoms got 11 points from Mason Brown and 10 each from Noah Elliott and Maisan Goyens.

#5 Catholic 74, #14 Peninsula Catholic 55

Carter Bullock scored 24 points, Dean Williams 19 and Josh Samuels 14 for the Crusaders (22-3, 9-0 TCIS). Anderson Allen led the Knights (18-6) with 21, while Jordan Carr had 18.

#9 Oscar Smith 67, Indian River 48

Kelley King led the Tigers with 24 points and six rebounds. Corrin Buckingham added 11 points, five rebounds and five assists. Rashaun Newsome and Majes Johnson combined for 20 points.

#10 King’s Fork 93, Great Bridge 48

Isaiah Inman had 15 points, seven rebounds and two steals for the Bulldogs. Also for King’s Fork, Melvin Wofford Jr. had nine points, two rebounds, six assists and four steals, Nasir Jenkins had nine points and three rebounds, Bryson Holland-Lane had eight points and five rebounds, and Desmon Hubbard had seven points, six rebounds and three assists. Chase Blachford scored 17 for the Wildcats.

Bay Rivers District

Smithfield 57, York 20

The Packers ended a five-game losing streak as Jaden Shearn had 18 points, 10 rebounds and four steals and Ian Hopkins provided 14 points, three assists and three steals. The Packers (7-9) held York to seven field goals and 30% shooting.

Warhill 39, Poquoson 33

Jaydin McLean had 10 points and seven rebounds and Caden Cherry finished with nine points for the Lions. Warhill’s top scorer this season, Shamar McCray, is out with an injury.

Beach District

First Colonial 45, Tallwood 44

Kayden Prince and Noah Yatsu scored 10 points apiece for the Patriots.

Kellam 68, Ocean Lakes 53

Trey Barnhart led the Knights with 23 points, six assists and six steals. Cooper Lindsey added 11 points and three steals. The Dolphins’ Brendon Copeland had 14 points.

Peninsula District

Heritage 63, Menchville 54

Mekhi Watkins scored 23 points and VJ Herring Jr. had 12 for the Hurricanes.

Southeastern District

Western Branch 82, Deep Creek 33

Camryn Clark scored 16 points and Markel Smith 13 for the Bruins. Tashawn Cuffee and Jaden Brownson added 10 each.

Bayside 59, Hickory 54, OT

Braylon McCants scored 20 points for the Marlins, who also got 14 points from Jawan Neal and 12 from Savion Herold. For the Hawks, Evan White had 20 points and Crue Egnot 19.

Atlantic Shores 71, Broadwater Academy 35

Justin Jones’ 17 points and Zion Denson’s 14 led the Seahawks. Bennett Custis paced Broadwater with 18.

Cape Henry Collegiate 62, Norfolk Christian 40

Porter Duncan led all scorers with 21 points for the Dolphins, while Ty Major had 10 points and Leyton Harrington nine. The Ambassadors’ Connor Holmes had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Also for Norfolk Christian, Ajian Skeete had 11 points, Don Shearon had three blocks and four steals, and Isiah Banks had three steals and seven rebounds. Landon McNamara added seven assists.

Norfolk Academy 68, Walsingham Academy 66, OT

The Bulldogs’ Danny Howerin made two free throws with 6 seconds remaining in overtime. Isaac Zito led Norfolk Academy with 20 points, and Thomas Newman had 16 points and 10 rebounds. For the Trojans, DJ Coles scored 22, William Lambert 17 and Evan Blinn 13.

Summit Christian Academy 50, Isle of Wight Academy 39

Courtland Reiter’s 21 points and DJ Forrest’s 13 paced Summit. Brody Casey led the Chargers with 17 points, while Jackson Gilchrist had 11.

Maddie Leach had 19 points, seven assists, five rebounds and five steals for the Peninsula District champion Monarchs. Jordein Holder added 17 points, 12 rebounds and five steals. Nevaeh Reid had 17 points, five assists and three steals for Menchville, which had six double-digit scorers.

Siniyah Ross had 20 points and six steals for the Crusaders.

#4 King’s Fork 80, Great Bridge 34

The Bulldogs’ Kenzie Cooper scored her 1,000th high school point. She had 18 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Rylie Hite had 17 points, Jazlyn Hubbard had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Brittany Evans added 12 points and six assists.

#7 Kellam 52, Ocean Lakes 14

Kate Spain led all scorers with 11 points and eight assists, and her twin, Mia Spain, had 10 points and eight assists. Lizzie Clark had eight points and eight rebounds, and Laurel Dick grabbed 10 rebounds.

#8 Norfolk Christian 83, Cape Henry Collegiate 39

Tamia Dyson scored 34 points for the Ambassadors, surpassing 1,000 for her career. Brianna Norman added 27 points, and Christal Harris had nine.

Morgan Herbert had 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets.

#11 Hampton 92, Phoebus 17

Candance Puryear and Zuriel Pendleton-Morant both had 19 points, while McKenzie Middleton added 10.

Jaliyah Nettles scored 22 points for the Raiders (11-3) in her 11th double-double this season. Kelsie Swords had 10 points.

Hickory’s Kyrsten Jones (200 individual medley, 100 backstroke) and Kaylah Maniace (400 freestyle, 100 breaststroke) swept two races each, as did the Grizzlies’ Nevaeh Shearin (200 and 100 freestyles). Grassfield’s Ada Hartney won the 1-meter diving event.

Nansemond River’s Trystin Boggs (120), Terryl Wright (126), Brayden Galicia (132), Matthew Shodunke (138), Wyatt Ellenor (150), Donald Scott (165), Charles Falkenstein (75), Connor Torrey (190) and Ledgen Watson (106) won against the Comets. Granby’s Keith Fernandez (113 pounds), Jonah Burrus (144), Mikey Walsh (157), Tijuan I. Powell (215) and Troy Davis (285) won twice apiece.
