The growing dysfunction of our government cannot be blamed solely on the president — be it Biden or Trump.
Nothing will change as long as there’s failed leadership by elected officials who vote their personal interests to stay in office. Despite their promises to serve their constituents, they serve themselves. Americans confronted by many challenges fail to be served.
Congress needs a dramatic overhaul, with a new generation of leaders who will honestly lead, and for voters to be more responsible for whom they elect. Term limits might help, but I doubt it will happen.

Voting is a precious gift. I never thought I would live to see it attacked. Republicans know their policies are not popular, so how do they stay in power? It’s simple: suppress the ability of people to vote.
The myth of non-citizens voting is a conspiracy theory that has been debunked multiple times, yet it persists.
Republicans are afraid of voters and don’t want to lose the next election. So, let’s make everyone prove they are citizens. Let’s require birth certificates and passports. That’s not all. Let’s go back to paper ballots and eliminate those pesky voting machines. Imagine how long it will take to tally any election results.

Why this is personal
When the billionaire class owns the government, buys the media, and destroys the middle class by bleeding it dry, what is left to do but collapse into chaos and become a third-world country of either rich or poor?
The gaslighting evil plutocrats who want everything own the Federalist Society, Heritage Foundation and other think tanks. They await the end of America, and the beginning of a thoroughly looted country in its place. At some point, greed and hoarding seem to create brain damage, foolish illusions of impenetrable self-sufficient gated communities among ruins of an abandoned dystopian society.
Such an astounding lack of perspective.
The plutocrat puppets like Bannon and the felonious Trumps will destroy the courts, justice system and balance of power. Retribution and a criminal police state will rule. Woe to all of us if this is not stopped. A disgrace. These monsters spit on the graves of our dear veterans of World War II who fought and died fighting fascism — just to have it rise again and gain a stronghold in the U.S.A.

An obvious question
An affluent individual who visited Jeffrey Epstein’s “Pedophile Island” or his estates, in the minds of public opinion, was tried and convicted with the stigma of being considered a pedophile. For what reason other than sexual would they have visited Epstein’s island, knowing its reputation, and not go to a legitimate resort instead?

The laws of nature
The Trump administration has repealed the earlier EPA finding that fossil fuel use and the resulting increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide has caused global warming (and other climate change). They might as well repeal Newton’s law of gravity, too, because it would make our space program much less expensive. You can’t “repeal” laws of nature.
The facts: There has been an exponential increase in global average annual land-sea surface temperature since 1950. Furthermore, there’s a higher than 90% correlation between atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration and average surface temperature, and a more than 95% correlation between carbon dioxide concentration and world fossil fuel use.
