Anna Hall won the women’s heptathlon just six months after undergoing a complex knee surgery and earned a spot on her first Olympic team. Hall broke her foot at the 2021 Olympic Trials after crashing into a barrier and will now compete at the Olympics for the first time. “I’m almost in shock,” Hall said after running the 800m.
