 
                A man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after he was hit by an NJ Transit train.
The strike occurred around 10:30 a.m. in Paterson on a Hoboken-bound train scheduled to arrive at 11:06 a.m.
First responders found a man had trespassed and gotten onto the tracks when he was hit. Service was suspended before resuming later with some delays.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. No other Information about his injuries was released.
None of the passengers or crew aboard the train were injured.
NJ Transit police are investigating.
There are 24 trespasser incidents a year on NJ Transit train lines, according to NJ Transit CEO Kris Kolluri. Each incident can lead to delays for dozens of subsequent trains.
