Ticked Off! @TV time slot

I have always loved SeaWorld since moving to Florida in 1992.  I was quite ticked off when I had my relatives here from the state of Washington.  Parking was outrageous and so were the tickets.  The three little girls ages 3, 5, and 7 had a wonderful time.  But an umbrella stroller for $50 to rent put me over the top.  So … the  year-old walked and was a trooper.
It ticks me off that the local NBC station decided to move “Meet the Press” an hour later instead following “Sunday Today” as it had for years and years. I now don’t watch the show because I change the channel from the repeating local news show that took over that time slot. I have other things to do or watch at the “Meet the Press” new time slot. Please go back to the original time slot.
To the person ticked off by the 9/10 of a cent tacked on to the price of gas, don’t think of it as being 9/10 added to the price. Think of it as being a 1/10th rebate off the main price of gas.
I am ticked off that some people fail to pronounce the “T” in names like Putin and Martin. Instead, they say Pu-in and Mar-in.

The flip side

Big thank you to the Orlando History Center and WUCF for hosting a wonderful, free event for the community Sunday night. It was a watch party of Ken Burns’ new documentary on the American Revolution. It was fun to get out on a Sunday night and learn so many new things about our country.
Kudos to Progressive Insurance for the hilarious commercials with animals driving cars. A huge change from what they have been showing on TV. What a hoot!
