1 teen injured in Norfolk shooting, police say

NORFOLK — Police responded to a shooting around 9:10 p.m. Saturday evening that took place in the 900 block of Briar Hill Road, according to a social media post by the Norfolk Police Department.

A teenager was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a gunshot wound, social media reports detail. There was no information whether it was a life-threatening injury.

Police say an investigation is underway. No arrests have been made. No information has been released about a motive.
