2 men robbed a Greenbrier Mall jewelry store. The FBI wants the public’s help finding them.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the people responsible for an armed robbery of a Chesapeake jewelry store.

According to the the FBI’s Norfolk Field Office, two men are suspected of robbing a store in Greenbrier Mall around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 9.

The FBI said surveillance video shows the two suspects entering the mall through a department store entrance within a few moments of each other. The first person covered his face with a large white cloth, while the second was wearing a medical mask.

Additional surveillance video, released on Thursday, shows the men enter the mall’s New York Jewelers store and hold up four victims at gunpoint, including two U.S. Postal Service letter carriers. The suspects took “a large amount of gold jewelry,” the FBI said, along with personal property and a U.S. Postal mail scanner from the mail carriers.

The first suspect is described as Black, with a heavyset build. He was wearing white sweatpants, a dark hoodie with a white shirt underneath, and a dark-colored hat. The second suspect is also described as Black. He was wearing a blue sport coat and pants, a pink dress shirt, a dark-colored bucket hat, sunglasses, and a black medical mask.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Authorities are asking the public to share any personal videos or photos taken in or around the mall during the time of the robbery through the FBI’s tips website.
