In the Southeastern, Oscar Smith — after a victory over Indian River on Saturday — travels to King’s Fork on Friday night in a showdown that should put the winner in the district driver’s seat.
Lafayette meets Poquoson in a Bay Rivers District game Friday night at Poquoson Middle School in a battle of unbeaten teams.
Two games highlight the Eastern District: Maury, after a bye week, hosts a Churchland team looking to prove its mettle after a 4-0 start and Granby visits Lake Taylor.
The Peninsula District game everyone’s been waiting for happens Saturday at Todd Stadium when Warwick takes on Phoebus at noon.
