Ticked Off! @punctured tires

Just had a screw pulled from a tire again, less than a month after having a nail and screw in another tire, costing hundreds of dollars. I have had five tire punctures in the eight years that I have lived in College Park. With many new houses being built around me, I have picked up dozens of nails/screws/metal pieces from workers who use the street to cut gutters, fencing and roofing items. Workers with total disregard for the people who live and drive nearby. Clean up after yourself!
How sad to see live lobsters in a tank with rubber bands wrapped around their claws. Disgusting and inhumane practice!
I’m ticked off at longtime Florida people who think a Florida opossum is spelled without an O. The only true possum without an O has a bushy tail and lives in Australia, New Zealand and China. The proper spelling of North America’s only marsupial is important for that distinction.
Kudos to Mike Bianchi’s article on the Ryder Cup and the behavior of the crowd and how our society has become shameful. I totally agree how supposedly adults use profanity as part of their everyday vernacular anywhere they are regardless of the people around them. I have come to the point of avoiding sporting events because of the behavior of the people who have no disregard for those sitting nearby. But when you lower your values, this is what you get.

The flip side

Thank you to my niece, Ashley, who donated her very long hair to Locks of Love to make into wigs for disadvantaged children who have lost their hair due to various medical conditions. She is a very generous and thoughtful person.
