Trader Joe’s is opening a new location in Connecticut, according to the company.
The new store, located at 801 Bridgeport Ave in the Fountain Square Shopping Plaza in Shelton, opens its doors this coming Monday, Dec. 8, according to Trader Joe’s.
An opening ceremony will begin at 8:55 a.m., with the store opening for business at 9 a.m., according to Trader Joe’s.
“As a neighborhood grocery store, Trader Joe’s prides itself on hiring from our local community,” according to Trader Joe’s. “The store hired more than forty new Crew Members from surrounding areas and transferred in others from nearby Trader Joe’s stores.”

“In addition, through the company’s longstanding Neighborhood Shares Program, the new Shelton Trader Joe’s will donate 100% of products that go unsold but remain fit to enjoy to a range of non-profit, community-based organizations, seven days a week,” Trader Joe’s went on to say.
