Authorities are investigating after a number of animals were abandoned in Bristol over the weekend.
The animals included a cat with multiple kittens as well as several dogs, according to Bristol Animal Control.
The cat and its kittens were left in a box at the door of the city’s animal shelter on Vincent P. Kelly Road, animal control said. They were discovered before they could get loose.
