Arrest made in shooting outside Miramar gas station

One of the men injured in a fatal shootout outside of a gas station in Miramar on Tuesday has been arrested, police say.

J’Shaun Williams, 18, remains in the hospital but is now under the custody of the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Miramar Police spokeswoman Janice McIntosh said in an update Friday.

Christian Corea, 19, was killed in the shooting, which took place following an altercation at the Sunoco gas station on Pembroke Road next to North Perry Airport. Another person described by police as an “innocent bystander” was hospitalized.

Police are still looking for a fourth person, who McIntosh described as a suspect.

She did not immediately respond to questions about the charges against Williams.
