Authorities still search for 1 missing girl from Portsmouth; 2 others found

PORTSMOUTH — Authorities are asking for help locating a girl who was last seen Jan. 18 in the city’s Park View neighborhood.

Police say the girl is considered a runaway after leaving a residence in the 300 block of Fort Lane around 7:30 a.m. That’s a residential area off London Boulevard and Effingham Street, near Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Police are looking for 15-year-old Darsha McAllister. She is a Black girl with orange hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 188 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink pajama pants and a tan shirt with “California” on it.

Two other girls, 12-year-old Forever Scott and Jocelyn Krofek, 14, had also been missing but were located and are safe, said Portsmouth police spokesperson Elexcia Washington. Krofek was found last week and police announced Saturday morning that Scott had been found.

Virginia State Police issued Codi Alerts for the girls Jan. 21. A Codi Alert is issued to assist in finding missing or endangered children.

Investigators were working with Northern Virginia law enforcement in the effort to locate the girls, though police have not elaborated.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 757-393-8536 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
