A portion of a modular home blew off its trailer onto the Basnight Bridge, according to a social media post from North Carolina Department of Transportation.

The Basnight Bridge overlooks the Oregon Inlet connecting Pea Island to the northern Outer Banks. The bridge is closed as the State Highway Patrol works to clear the scene and the NCDOT asked people to avoid the area.
