Fright Nights returns to the South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Boulevard, in West Palm Beach for its 23rd year on select nights from Thursday, Oct. 9, to Saturday, Nov. 1. The attraction, which includes four haunted houses, carnival rides, music, food and entertainment, is open from 6 to 11 p.m. Thursdays and 6 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Dare to walk through the haunted houses starting at 7 p.m. with this year’s themes: “The Autumn Terror Returns,” “Nuclear Beats: Frenzy in the Fallout,” “Watery Grave” and “The Return of Cuckoo’s Nest.” Scare zones are “Scary Christmas” and “Coven of the Scorned.” Tickets are $48.50.
