Central Florida temps still climbing past 90 on Saturday

A mostly dry day is in store for Central Florida on Saturday with temperatures still making their way past 90 degrees for much of the region, according to the National Weather Service.

For those heading to the beach, though, persistent northeast winds and 3- to 4-foot waves provide for a moderate risk of rip currents along the Atlantic coast.

Rain chances are below normal through the weekend with a return to normal rain chances early next week with an increase in moisture, the NWS stated.

The heat is still hitting the 90s in the interior and upper 80s on the coast, but temperatures may climb into the beginning of the week, even though Floridians will technically be enjoying fall weather.
