Chelsea Handler to bring her comedy tour to Norfolk in February

Chelsea Handler is returning to what made her famous: stand-up comedy.

And the seven-time New York Times bestselling author is bringing her national comedy tour to Chrysler Hall in Norfolk on Feb. 15.

Tickets for “The High and Mighty Tour” go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Presale tickets are already available for fans who registered at bandsintown.com.

Handler spent seven years as the host of “Chelsea Lately” on the E! Network, from 2007 to 2014, the sole woman leading a top-rated U.S. late-night talk show on air at the time. Her 2016 Netflix documentary series, “Chelsea Does,” was composed of four episodes that each tackled a different topic — marriage, racism, Silicon Valley and drugs. Then her streaming talk show, “Chelsea,” ran for two seasons (2016-17) on Netflix.

She incorporates personal stories in her stand-up, and her comedic style is blunt and to the point.
