Coastal counties under flood watch through the weekend

Several Central Florida counties are on flood watch through early Sunday morning.

A chance for showers and thunderstorms are possible after 11 a.m.

Daytona Beach, Titusville, Melbourne, Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie and Stuart have a 50% chance or more to flood, according to NWS Melbourne.

Volusia County has a Coastal Flood Advisory, but the risk is limited.

There are also High Surf and Small Craft advisories for Central Florida waters.

Skies will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid-80s across the region.

Winds are blowing east to northeast at 10 to 15 mph, increasing to 15 to 25 mph on Friday afternoon and could gust as high as 35 mph.
