Cole Bruce drove to a notable 100-lap Late Model victory Saturday night in a feature at Langley Speedway in Hampton.
Bruce took just more than 33 minutes and 11 seconds to beat Danny Edwards by 1.279 seconds and third-place Woody Howard by 3.860.
Bruce, who entered the night fourth in Late Model points, captured his third checkered flag of the season and posted the night’s best lap time: 16.611 seconds. Points leader Greg Edwards, all but certain to take his record eighth Langley Late Model title, placed sixth among 14 competitors.

Virginia Sprint Car Series: Chris Humblet picked up a 25-lap victory in a touring-series race in more than 6:22, overcoming Billy Hubbard by 436-thousandths of a second. Matthew Leach placed a distant third in the field of 12, 9.913 seconds behind.
Hubbard and Aaron Leach won the 10-lap heat races that set the order for the 25-lapper.
Super Truck: Chris McEvoy zoomed to a 25-lap triumph, taking more than 20:13 for his second victory of 2025. He beat Chase McAdams by 0.726 of a second before Chris Bechtel took third among 10 drivers, 7.110 off the lead.
Bechtel began the night with a 17-point lead.
Super Street: Landon Abbott drove to his fourth victory of the year, a 40-lapper in which he outpaced Chris Spangler by 974-thousandths of a second.
Gordon Weeks took third, 4.040 off the lead, while points-leading Sammy Gaita was sixth in a field of 10.
Grand Stock: Paul Lubno prevailed among a field of nine over 40 laps, while Bill Eaker was the runner-up and Brandon Hinson was third.
It was the sixth triumph in 10 races for Lubno, who began the night with a commanding 24-point edge.
