I am completely confounded as to why the chaos we’re seeing in the streets of Minneapolis has become something of a Rorschach test. Those on the left and most of the legacy mainstream media have carefully crafted a superficial narrative that I believe strains credulity, where Renee Good and Alex Pretti were simply peaceful protesters who were gunned down by federal agents.
To cling to that grossly mischaracterized interpretation of events, one must embrace the post-George Floyd “mostly peaceful protest” narrative. I daresay those 2020 protests that resulted in about 20 deaths, many thousands injured, and billions in property damage were light years from peaceful.
Law-abiding peaceful protesters shouldn’t block traffic, scream expletives, spit on and bite fingers off of federal agents, kick out tail lights, weaponize two-ton vehicles, disobey orders, storm hotels and terrorize church parishioners, as some of the Minneapolis protesters are accused of doing by President Trump and federal officials.
Once you dispense with the media narrative that I see as absurd, the real story — tragedy, in fact — is simply a question: What external forces ultimately brought these two Minnesotans to the very moment in which they lost their lives, impeding federal law enforcement operations, to the point where some federal agents said they actually feared for their lives?
In my view, Renee Good and Alex Pretti were simply unwitting pawns and foot soldiers — putting themselves in harm’s way at the behest of a far left-wing cabal of globalist billionaires, some state leaders and some members of a complicit mainstream media all seemingly obsessed with resistance to Donald Trump above all else.
FBI Director Kash Patel recently announced the Bureau is investigating who exactly is funding and organizing the anti-ICE unrest. One of the usual suspects, George Soros and his Open Society Foundation has been accused. A lesser known name is billionaire financier Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai based left wing activist and American citizen with documented links to CCP-aligned organizations. Republican Florida Congresswoman and member of the House Oversight Committee Anna Paulina Luna is accusing the aforementioned China-based Singham of bankrolling activist groups organizing anti-ICE demonstrations around the country, highlighting national security concerns that go beyond organic political dissent.
For their part, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey have not only encouraged resistance via inflammatory rhetoric, but more importantly, have made statements that could be seen as hindering local police from protecting ICE agents during their law enforcement operations. This, in my view, would have kept these agitators away from ICE agents, and almost certainly would have prevented both deaths.

This is evidenced by the fact that virtually none of this violence is happening in numerous other states, whose local police is working in concert with ICE to help keep order in the streets and everyone safe.
Lastly, some members of the mainstream media’s reports on the violent anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis have been draped in gross mischaracterizations and gaping omissions.
In my view, these “protests” are not even remotely organic, but highly organized, funded and often performative, in an attempt to gin up viral videos of chaos, which are ultimately politically weaponized as tools of Trump resistance — even if that means fighting to keep violent criminal illegal aliens on the street.
We’ve been told ad nauseam that Alex Pretti was a nurse. Another who will never achieve her dream of becoming a nurse is Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student who was raped and murdered by an illegal alien in early 2024, leading to the passage of The Laken Riley Act, which aims to enforce stricter immigration laws. It’s victims like her, Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, and thousands of others who met similar fates at the hands of illegal aliens welcomed in by Joe Biden that my heart breaks for. And it was all easily avoidable. That’s the real tragedy many have unfortunately lost sight of.
