Dense fog to start Monday with temperatures peaking in the mid 70s

On Monday morning, patchy fog is greeting Central Florida residents.

Visibility reductions due to dense fog are expected to last until 9 a.m., according to NWS Melbourne.

The fog has been observed across portions of east Central Florida, especially along the I-95 corridor.

Once the fog clears, Monday will be sunny with a high near 75 degrees.

Boating conditions are poor across portions of the Gulf Stream.

Small craft should exercise caution near inlets due to long period swells, according to NWS Melbourne.

There is a high risk of rip currents across Central Florida Atlantic beaches.

Entering the surf is not advised.
