A man faces charges after a narcotics investigation at a package store in South Windsor led authorities to his home in Enfield where they allegedly found multiple types of drugs and a gun close to where a child was staying.
Pascious A. Mink, 34, was arrested last Friday on charges of sale of a narcotic substance, possession of a controlled substance, risk of injury to a child, possession of a stolen firearm and criminal possession of a firearm, according to the South Windsor Police Department.
Police said the charges stem from a narcotics investigation in July that was conducted by the East Central Narcotics Task Force. The investigation involved Kenco Spirits at 17 Main St. and led to multiple arrests after authorities allegedly seized narcotics, cash and a firearm, according to police.
Investigators said they were able to establish a connection between the alleged “illegal activity” at Kenco and Mink’s Enfield residence, according to police. Authorities carried out a search warrant at the home and allegedly found cash, cocaine, MDMA, oxycodone and a handgun “all in close proximity to where a child was staying,” police said.
Investigators obtained a warrant for Mink’s arrest. He was released on a $275,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on Tuesday.
