A public works employee was seriously injured in Enfield on Friday when a lawn mower was involved in a crash with a motor vehicle.
The collision occurred on North Main Street in the afternoon hours and involved an Enfield Public Works lawn mower and a vehicle, according to Alaric J. Fox, chief of the Enfield Police Department.
The employee was seriously injured and was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, Fox said. The driver was also taken to a hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
