Pocono Mountain East continues to be the surprise story of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference football season.
The Cardinals are 3-0 for the first time in a long time after a 45-0 win over visiting Scranton Thursday night.
Amari Green ran for 204 yards on 12 carries and scored two touchdowns, and quarterback Ceejay Serfass completed 12 of 15 passes for 196 yards and three scores. Justin Williams caught two of those TD passes and had six catches for 115 yards overall. Serfass also threw a TD pass to Connor Triano, and Triano also ran for a 4-yard TD.
Lucas Angst added a 36-yard field goal for Pocono Mountain East, which will host Allentown Central Catholic in its EPC league opener next Friday. Scranton fell to 1-2.
