A 3-year-old was taken to the hospital after falling from a second-story window at an apartment in Hartford on Sunday.
Crews responded to a residence at 593 Garden St. just before 7:40 p.m. on the report of a child falling from a window and found the boy in an apartment with one of his parents, according to the Hartford Fire Department.
Fire officials said the child was responsive at the scene and was taken in an ambulance to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. His condition was not immediately clear.
According to fire officials, the incident remains under investigation by the Hartford Police Department.
