The Crimson Wave, a nationally ranked team guided by a coach (Ty White) who guided John Marshall to numerous state titles, overcame the Blue Devils in a rivalry of nearby teams.
#2 Lake Taylor 66, #7 Lakeland 34
Jr Evans logged 18 points and five assists for the Titans. Jayden Yancey recorded 11 points and six rebounds, and Jaccari Jones had 13 points and eight rebounds. Lake Taylor will face Colonial Heights in a semifinal for a state berth.
#3 Colonial Heights 91, #6 Tabb 84, 2 OT
The Colonials were led in their double-overtime win by Cameron Hartsoe with 26 points. James Mueller and Jackson Houser each scored 21 points for the Tigers, and they added 13 and 17 respective rebounds. Mathew Adams and Jake Siegel were also double-figure scorers with 23 combined points.

The Oaks were led by Josh Mills with a double-double of 23 points and 10 assists. Gavin Mallette tallied 19 points, while Sam Naidyhorski finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. Teddy Cason added 11 points. Norfolk Collegiate advances to Wednesday’s quarterfinal in Chatham at No. 4 Hargrave Military Academy at 6 p.m.

The Spartans fell to the host Patriots in Ashburn. Miller School of Albemarle plays host to Virginia Academy on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The Seahawks’ season ended in Roanoke. The Raiders meet No. 2 Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The Trojans were narrowly defeated in Lynchburg. The Gryphons meet No. 1 Evergreen Christian in Leesburg on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
#5 Portsmouth Christian 106, Brunswick Academy 44
Sylvestor Coleman led the Patriots with 18 points. Chase Skiba and Quimar Crittenden each followed with 15 points, while Makhi Cofield and Ben Osborne each scored 11. Portsmouth Christian will challenge No. 4 seed St. Michael the Archangel at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Fredericksburg Academy.

The Chiefs, from Martinsville, and No. 4 Westover Christian meet on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Danville.

Amelia Academy faces the third-seeded Minutemen of Denbigh Baptist Christian on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Newport News.

Class 6 Region A semifinals
#1 Manchester 60, #5 Grassfield 52
Despite the loss, the Grizzlies were led by Alex Thompson with 19 points. Lauren Priester and Khadijah Rashid scored 13 and 11 respective points. The Lancers, coached by former Old Dominion guard Rasheed Wright, a longtime pro player in France, were the state tournament runners-up last season and will return to the bracket.

The Skyhawks clinched a state berth in a Chesterfield County rivalry game and will travel to Manchester on Thursday for the Class 6 Region A final.

Maddie Leach led all scorers with 28 points, five assists and eight rebounds for the Monarchs as they ensured a state berth. TaNya Henson earned a triple-double with 12 points, 17 rebounds and 11 blocks. Jordein Holder tallied 12 points, four assists and 10 rebounds.

The Bulldogs dominated the Raiders, clinched a state berth and will challenge top-seeded Menchville for the region championship at 6 p.m. Friday at Norview High.

Eternity Washington recorded a double-double of 12 points, 13 rebounds and four steals to lead the Titans. Senior Jamyah Parker earned her 1,000th career point, finishing the game with eight. The Titans will play a semifinal at New Kent, and the winner will land a state berth.

The Falcons fell to the Blue Devils, who easily earned a spot in a semifinal against Petersburg.
