The Tigers swept the Eagles to win the Bay Rivers District championship for the 26th time in school history, securing the top seed in the Class 3 Region A tournament. They will host the No. 8 seed on Monday at 4 p.m.

Leah Orrock and Lily Bliven both recorded goals for the Wildcats, and Berkley Steckline provided an assist.

Caitlin Outlaw, Roselyn Hanson, Caydence Parker and Brayden Johnston all scored twice for the Warriors, with Johnston also adding an assist. Olivia Forbes finished with a goal and three assists, and Kaylee Mustin contributed one goal.

The Islanders were led in an overtime win by Elizabeth Trant with a hat trick. Lucy Carpenter registered one goal, and Casey Law contributed one assist.

Seniors Sophia Lowry and Laila Manipon both scored for the Hawks on their Senior Day. Caroline Jones and Kenley Harrington each provided an assist. The Bruins’ lone goal was logged by Ruth Anderson with an assist by Ava Paquette.

The Comets ended the regular season with an overall record of 12-4. Audrey Albertson and Kalista Burrus each scored, and Lily Gill assisted both goals. Renata Videki earned her sixth shutout of the season.

TCIS semifinals
Catholic 2, Cape Henry Collegiate 2, 3-2 in PKs
After a 2-2 draw in regulation time and extra time, the No. 5 seed Crusaders upset the No. 1 Dolphins in penalty kicks. Carson Stokes and Max Lowe each recorded goals for Catholic, and Graham Campbell scored twice for Cape Henry. Catholic’s penalty kicks were made by Griffin McCallum, Stokes and Jack Gerhardstein, and goalkeeper T.D. Reader made two saves in the shootout. Catholic plays in the TCIS championship game on Friday.
Norfolk Academy 4, Norfolk Collegiate 1
Archer Cutter, Jack Ward, Marcus Cancado and Atharv Deshpande all scored for the advancing Bulldogs. Norfolk Academy meets No. 5 Catholic on Friday for the TCIS championship.

Jason Leary tallied 15 assists, seven kills and six aces for the Hawks. Carson Tortone recorded 12 kills, three blocks and two aces.
