Jekii Rodgers propelled the Knights with 16 points, six steals and four assists. Jordan Carr finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Anderson Allen had 13 points and five assists.

#15 Warhill 50, Poquoson 48

Charlie Archibald scored 17 points for the Lions (7-1), who were playing without leading scorer Shamar McCray because of an ankle injury.

Bay Rivers District

Grafton 54, Jamestown 45

The Clippers’ Luke Wenger led all scorers with 21 points and made four steals.

Smithfield 69, York 29

Jaden Shearn’s 15 points and 10 rebounds and Tim Giles’ 13 points, five assists and four steals propelled the Packers (4-4). Tristan Morton had 10 points and six rebounds for Smithfield, which led from start to finish.

Peninsula District

Kecoughtan 51, Bethel 50

Tori Brownson’s 13 points and Latrell Murray’s 10 paced the Warriors in a Hampton rivalry. Decorey Cassell provided eight points and 12 rebounds.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy 62, Amelia Academy 49

NSA won behind junior David Ortell’s 14 points and senior Cam Bergen’s 12. They were among four Saints in double figures. Freshman Sebastian Mitchell had 12 points and eighth-grader Josiah Kennedy-Goodrich had 10.

Cherish Brehon (18), Morgan Herbert (16), Sophya Webb (15) and Luanne Kemeni (11) combined for 60 points for the Hornets.

Arcadia 38, Smithfield 35

Kalani Scott scored eight points for the injury-plagued Packers in their loss to the Firebirds from Oak Hall.

Lake Taylor 42, Lakeland 39

Senior Jamyah Parker led all scorers with 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Titans. Eternity Washington had nine points and 14 rebounds. For the Cavaliers, Jada Durham scored 15 and Aubrianna Paiz 14.

Nansemond River 63, Churchland 17

Jordin Richardson posted 18 points, six rebounds, six steals and five assists for the visiting Warriors. Zachariah Knight had 14 points and five rebounds, and Aaniyah Custis had 12 points and six rebounds.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy 55, Amelia Academy 7

Kasey Rountree’s 14 points and Celine Waddy’s 11 led the Saints.
