Keon Mitchell scored 31 points and Zymareon Mitchell 19 for the Pilots. Daeven Reed led the Commodores with 11. Keon had three rebounds, four assists and three steals, and Zymareon had three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Carlton Gregory had eight points, five rebounds and five steals for Norview.

#14 Peninsula Catholic 84, Gates County (North Carolina) 45

Senior guard Jordan Carr scored 34 points at a King’s Fork showcase as the Knights improved to 6-0 for the first time in more than 20 years. Junior guard Anderson Allen had 17 points and seven steals.

The Cavaliers beat a Northern Virginia team behind Antonio Harrell’s 18 points and Marquis Stephens Jr.’s 14 points. Lakeland rolled to a 48-23 advantage.

Justin Jones had 20 points and Noah Eddy had eight points, 13 rebounds and six assists for the Seahawks as they beat a team from Easton. DJ Gayden had nine points and eight rebounds, and Zion Denson had 10 points and eight blocks. JJ Rardin scored 17 in defeat.

The Cavaliers (3-0) won at the Princess Anne Tip-Off Classic as Micah Ojo had 22 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks and two assists. Tristan Rickenbacker added 15 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and two blocks. Jizzle James scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

#3 Menchville 57, #8 Kellam 48

Also at the Princess Anne Tip-Off Classic, the Monarchs won behind a combined 41 points from Nevaeh Reid, Maddie Leach and Jaiden Rhodes. Reid had 16 points, three assists and three steals, Leach had 14 points, six assists, eight rebounds and four steals, and Rhodes had 11 points, four rebounds and four steals. Mia Spain scored 19 and Laurel Dick 10 for the Knights.

#6 Salem 50, #11 Grassfield 47, OT

Briseis Estrada led the Sun Devils with 13 points, while Alaya Monroe-Sutton added 11. Samara Williams and Valeria Medina both had eight points. Lauren Priester paced the Grizzlies with 16 points.

Nevaeh Shearin (200 and 400 freestyles), Abbie Flores (200 IM and 400 free), Loralei Wilson (100 butterfly, 100 backstroke) and Maria Dobson (50 free, 100 breaststroke) were double individual winners for the Grizzlies.
