The Patriots won as Callen Morrison sank a shot from a step inside half-court at the final buzzer. He caught a baseball pass from the baseline from Jai’Quan Gray.
“When I caught it, I knew I had a second and I had to get it up,” Morrison told Marty O’Brien of 757Teamz. “It was a hard shot, but it went in, so it was a good shot — the best!”
Kevin Parker scored 23 for Denbigh, and Nasir Johnson and Victor George netted 20 apiece. Morrison had seven points.Keon Mitchell poured in 30 points for the Pilots. His cousin Zymareon Mitchell added 18.

Zaevion Cleveland had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Stallions, and Malik Gooden had 19 points and 11 assists. Jeff Larkin scored 13 and Sylvestor Coleman 11 for the Patriots.

Carter Bullock’s 29 points and Dean Williams’ 13 paced the Crusaders (15-3), who erased a 14-point first-half deficit in the MLK Day of Dreams Showcase. Williams hit two free throws with 10.8 seconds left in overtime. Nasir Jenkins led the Bulldogs with 15 points, while Melvin Wofford and Desmon Hubbard added 11 each.

Deshawn Spellman led the Comets with 25 points, eight rebounds and four blocks. Ryan Bailey added 15 points and 10 assists. Antonio Williams had 10 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, while Gabe Sol added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Lauryn Loritts was the game MVP with 21 points. Riley Lynch had 19 points, including four 3-pointers. Justice Brown-Jones had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Brittany Evans scored 30 points and Rylie Hite 23 for the Bulldogs, who bolted to a 29-11 lead behind Evans’ 16 points. Abuna Ruop had 15 for the Ambassadors.
#9 Grafton 74, Christchurch 25
Taylor Ragland had a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 11 steals for the unbeaten Clippers. Katherine Wenger led Grafton with 21 points. Hope Barnard (11) and Mya Napoleoni (10) also reached double figures against the Seahorses, who were led by Sienna Rowe’s 12 points.
