Taron Atwater led the Warriors with 20 points, while Jeremiah Broome added 18. Quinton Cruse provided 16 points, Jonathan Smith 15 and Micaiah Mitchell 10.

Nondistrict

Grassfield 67, Warwick 51

Jayden Reid’s 20 points propelled the Grizzlies over the Raiders. Cash Tolison and Jonah Henderson scored 12 points each for Grassfield, whose junior varsity won 59-24.

Granby 71, Hickory 49

Ryan Bailey powered the Comets with 25 points, seven assists and three steals. Gabe Sol dominated inside with 19 points and 21 rebounds. Malachi Roberts added 13 points.

First Colonial 76, Norfolk Christian 64

Noah Yatsu’s 22 points, Amir Cutts’ 15 and Sam Maloney’s 14 paced the Patriots. Ajian Skeete led the Ambassadors with 20, and Landon McNamara and Connor Holmes added 13 apiece. Also for Norfolk Christian, Christian Hines had seven assists and Luke Grethen blocked three shots.

Freshman Brianna Norman and junior Tamia Dyson scored 27 points apiece. Junior Kaliana “KJ” Fielding-Cuffee added nine.

#14 Granby 55, Hickory 43

Makhia Johnson had 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Comets (3-2). Talyah Ricks added 12 points. For the Hawks, London McCrorey scored nine.

Addie Burhite scored 11 and Haley Atkins 10 for the Tigers, while Ella Rivera had eight points and Gabby Eaton seven. The Packers’ Semaje Goldson led all scorers with 16, and Kima Anderson had nine.

Great Bridge 74, Tallwood 13

Kelsey King led the Wildcats with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Amiyah Gordon-Thompson had 16 points and five rebounds. Lindsey Manning added nine points, nine steals, seven assists and five rebounds.

Ocean Lakes 77, Booker T. Washington 9

Jasmyn Miller poured in a career-high 45 points, sinking five 3-pointers and amassing seven steals. Erin Broderick had 16 points, Ciara Shaw had 12 rebounds and two points, and Tacari Johnson had 10 rebounds and two points. Taliyah Westray led the Bookers with six points.

Kellam’s Avery Handlon won the all-around at 38.475, and teammate Layne Leary was the runner-up at 35.05 in the Knights’ gym. Salem’s Chase Udan was third at 33.925.
