A historic winter storm brought record-breaking snowfall to Florida, with a state record of 8.8 inches reported in the city of Milton in the Panhandle. Snow forced the closure of airports, major highways and schools in north Florida. In the Tampa Bay area, temperatures won’t make it out of the 50s until at least Saturday before our next warmup.
